SO! One day, the Eternal Trio decided to Check if they had ant past lives using Magic.

They already knew that Tucker was the Reincarnation of some Pharoah, so maybe they were also some historical figures in a last life.

It does not go as expected.

Danny finds out that he was the Ancient of Space, and the reason Clockwork was so invested in keeping him from being erased from Time is because he's his Brother apparently.

Sam finds out that she was the Embodiment of The Green, and Undergrowths attempt at Adopting her was some scheme to become the Parent of his used-to-be Queen while she was in Mortal Form, therefore overthrowing her.

Tucker finds out that Duulaman was just one in a long line of the Reincarnations of the Sun God Ra, and that he had been quite a few more historical figures in the Past.

They were surprised to figure this out, but then they got curious.

They tested the Spell out on Jazz, and found that she used to be an Amazonian Goddess, alongside Pandora.

They test it on Dash, and find that he used to be Hermes, God of Travel and Speed.

Ellie was an Embodiment of something called the Speed Force, who was also a child of Space before their rebirth, apparently.

They slowly realize that almost every person of note in Amity Park is the Reincarnation of some kind of God or Spirit. And none of them seem to realize that.

Why are there so many reborn Gods in this town?

i’m confused. you are a huge fan of pjo characters right? so how do you sit there and not call out a problem? you claim percy to be smart, but when rick writes about percy being an idiot and annabeth deeming him as one for an entire book, you are fine with that? youre fine with how she was shocked at him being smart? why are you pretending like everything is fine? inlike most of us, you have a platform. you can reach people. the only way to make things change is to speak up. aka the only way for rick to change is if we tell him what’s wrong. just like we told him to represent nico better and he did.

it is not okay for him to write annabeth like he did. he butchered her character and make her treat percy terribly. the annabeth haters are going to actually get a platform now. you have to call rick out!!

I think there’s been a misunderstanding. I haven’t said Percy’s portrayal as unintelligent is a good thing — I just haven’t had the chance to share a full review yet. I actually agree with you that it’s disappointing how often Rick makes Percy the butt of jokes about his intelligence, and I think Percy (and Annabeth) deserves better representation too. But it feels like your message is coming at me as though I’m opposed to this view, when I’m not. I also want to highlight that I’m just one person, and while I appreciate passionate discussions about representation, I don’t appreciate being spoken to in a confrontational way, especially when we’re on the same side. I support speaking up when things need to change, but it’s important to approach these conversations respectfully.

Finally got around to buying the Nikke profile stickers I want since I keep drawing dupes! Bought all the Bow Wow Paradise ones!! It was one of my fave events bc I love dogs and dog girls and Happy Zoo and ESPECIALLY Biscuit so much. As you can see, I got all the 'dog' girls as my showcase team, too, lol:

Also, as an aside, I just got a new personal record in Overclock at level 16!! Which is why I remembered I needed to edit my profile when I went to check if it changed to 16 (I think I was at 12 maybe last time they ran Overclock in the Simulation Room).

made a small personal edit to a piercing mod (changed one pair of earrings into a single earring and then changed the stone color) and... yeah i think i really like this:

gale decides to leave his earring at the foot of mystra's statue after the confrontation at stormshore tabernacle, as a small form of catharsis for himself after having defied his goddess and ex-lover. elenion doesn't press him about it because they know how difficult this all must be for him, and they've got so many other things to worry about anyway. sometime not too long before their wedding date gale tells elenion he wants to get a new earring to represent a new chapter in his life (and also because he keeps trying to stim by dangling his earring and forgetting it's not there anymore) and elenion takes gale to their favorite jewelry shop so he can pick out something nice. gale goes in with nothing specific in mind but an earring resembling a gold sun catches his eye and he chooses it to go with his husband-to-be's favorite pair of silver moon earrings. that's the headcanon i've decided on!

Romhack as Worship

Hello friends! This may sound very silly but I’m beginning the process of learning how to make a romhack in order to create at least a small personal area that serves as a sanctuary where I can hold a virtual practice worshiping Lady Hylia inside Ocarina of Time. Undecided yet whether I want to build a temple for her or a sacred grove. I also hope to add a couple of small Goddess Statues in certain areas of the world. Most notably in the Temple of Time and on the island in the middle of Lake Hylia that has the warp seal. I want to do this because it will serve as a creative expression of my faith and also provide me a custom digital sacred space I can interact with.

Digital worship spaces are actually really useful and fairly common for various different pop culture based religions. It’s incredibly helpful as well if you either don’t have space for a physical altar or you are in the closet about your faith.

I think the most genuinely unhinged part about all of this is how I received the inspiration. I was thinking back on a person I encountered online who I genuinely hope seeks professional help someday. This person was making a romhack of Ocariba of Time that honestly made me feel disgusted and incredibly offended because he was recreating the Temple of Time but filled it full of Bible verse posters and the antechamber was filled with church pews and a pulpit from which Link preached to the people of Hyrule. He also edited the Hyrule creation story to erase the Golden Goddesses.

That isn’t even the half of it but I will leave the story there at this time. My point is that I have to facepalm and chuckle that this person of all people still blessed me with inspiration even if I had an intense dislike for exactly what he was doing.

I just wanted to write this to say two things:

Don’t discount any potential source of inspiration because you may find yourself surprised.

Certain activities within the games can serve as devotional times in your practice!

Making up my own Sonic lore is so fun because any question I've ever had about the series and the way certain things work in the universe I can just answer myself. If Sonic Team's not gonna acknowledge it then what's stopping me

Yet another let night MS Paint. This time the Creed siblings as. Vaguely puppety? Cartoony?

It's titled "creed siblings if they slayed" on my computer so.

Also the symbols have to do with the gods they are vessels of. Time for Ty, Space for Charlie, "Void" for Blitz.

I think we're all collectively sleeping on the Goddess of Space and Time - the figure depicted by Divinity Statues, who teaches the player characters skills (and grants helpful items) in exchange for Red Orbs - because her existence raises some interesting questions.

I'm Devil May Cry, there's no sign of any life forms besides humans or demons, even creatures that appear angelic are just another kind of demon - Except for the Goddess.

Is she also just another kind of demon, who is worshipped by humans not unlike Sparda himself? Or are there supernatural beings other than demons after all?

And what does she want with all of that demon blood? Is it just some sort of test, to make sure those she's granting her knowledge to will put it to good use? Or is she somehow gaining power from it?

Also, is her knowledge truly limited to combat, or is that just all the devil hunters seek from her? Taking the skill shop hyper-literally, the Goddess also teaches Ex-Provocations, so she's also a divine dance instructor. And what about the items she sells? Blue, Purple, and Gold Orbs, Vital and Devil Stars, Holy Water, even Devil Breakers in at least one instance. Where is she getting them?

Then again, taking game mechanics literally also implies that the knowledge she grants is temporary, since the players have to re-buy skills in each entry. Speaking of game mechanics, why did she accept Proud Souls along with Red Orbs in Devil May Cry 4 anyway?

Also - what is the Void? Is that the Goddess's realm? Is that where she teaches those who do business with her?

And who's building all of these statues, if anyone? I mean, Fortuna makes sense, if they worship a demon who turned on his own kind to defend humanity, it's no surprise they would worship the Goddess as well. But what about the Temen-Ni-Gru? Arkham said it was built by humans who worshipped demons - I think - why would they want anything to do with the Goddess? Was she not always opposed to demons?

There's just so much mystery surrounding the Goddess of Space and Time.

I've said this before but as much as I was screaming at my screen, this is an opportunity for ttj to raise roots somewhere that not only includes the love of his life but also relationships without ridonkulous power imbalances among a supportive community and a new way of life outside the expectations set upon him since birth. who knows, maybe he'll choose to embrace his devil god fate lord knows the tension would not only be palpable but sexy af or maybe he'll become the supreme ultimate botanical sword master but he finally gets to be an active agent of his own life, choosing people, values, and goals for his own future, and hopefully, his journey (and lss's own growth returning + learning her identity) will reunite them knowing they're stronger, happier, and simply uplift each other when together. ttj's enduring love surmounted death and five centuries of agony to bring him to her place in the immortal realm, now it's up to them to figure themselves out and truly make it their home.
